Floating market

Suki and a Japanese tour guide told us this area was specifically made for tourists. While it’s pretty neat to have a man-made Venetia, the prices and hard selling are enough to make you want to jump out of the boat. How it works: We took a bus for an hour to arrive at a village  with canals dug in place of roads. The vendors are equipped with 4 feet hooks and as we sail by, they latch on to the boat and reel you into their shop/boat and start showing off their inventory.

The day ended with our friends treating us to a wedding present invitation to a nice restaurant with a great view
