Ankor Wat:
Under no circumstances allow your guide, tuk-tuk driver, taxi, or anyone else take you to the back door of Ankor Wat to start your visit. Our guide told us that since it’s under reconstruction we should start from the back and work to the front. He was a great guide and obviously suggested what he thought was best, but given that choice again, I would, without any hesitation, smack him. The beauty and allure of Ankor starts with the terrace and the approach to the temple across the moat. It’s the beauty of the towers as they get closer with every step, the stone walkway meant for the king, and the tiny fact that sun will be at your back instead of in your face.
朝7時にバイクタクシーのドライバーがすでに外でスタンバイ。30分遅れで今日はアンコール小回りのツアーです。途中でガイドを雇って出発です。
アンコールトム、バイオン
ドライバーが連れて行ってくれるレストランはいつも観光客のみのレストラン。値段は大体ワンオーダーが＄３ほどでちょっと高め。ドルで払いますが一ドル以下のおつりはリエルで帰ってきます。
タプローム。最近まで密林に埋もれていた寺院。。。
アンコールワット。ここに来てまた私の調子が悪く。。。強い日差しを一日中浴びてどうやら調子がよろしくなくなったみたいです。
カンボジアのBBQ.これで＄３です。
夜ホテルでドアを開けたら上から落ちてきたトカゲ。。。$18の安宿だから仕方ないのかな。東南アジアにはこれがどこにでもいます。どうやら私達の部屋ではエアコンの中に潜んでいるらしく、4，5時間に一回ケッケッケと鳴くので夜中でも起きてしまいました。
