Vietnam (Halong Bay) – Day14

Yumis’ time in Vietnam was running out. We could leave to Laos without seeing Halong Bay, or buy her a visa for the next 30 days and see North Vietnam. Through our hotel we made arrangements an extended Yumis visa and have it delivered to a hotel in Sapa ($90 – actual price $25), during which time we’ll enjoy Halong Bay and Sapa.

3 days, 2 nights in Halong ($80 each) and 2 days, 3 nights in Sapa ($75 each). While in Halong we probably would end up spending at least that much do go everywhere our selves, in Sapa we could spend a fraction of the cost, and see twice as much by ourselves… while avoiding strong arm selling of the locals.
