Kuala Lumpur - Day 3

IMG_2999

IMG_2998 What do you suppose this is? And obviously, since i am asking it’s not what you think it is, unless you’re thinking it’s underwear, because that’s what it is. And i dont think it’s a very comfortable one, having a metal pendant bouncing off your junk as you’re walking around is just not cool.  Unless you’re into it… in which case, go on, and scar your child for life.

IMG_3130 The twin towers, as pretty as they are, are a pain in the ass to visit. Starting at 8:30 in the morning, about 1500 tickets are given out. Around 40 people every 15 minutes till 6:45. This is a picture of the line by the time we got there at 8:45. We landed the 6:15 slot, giving us plenty of time to hang out. Sleep deprived again, we started to explore the shopping area in the towers. Hitting up the food court, some exhibits and galleries, the Petronas exhibits & aquarium.

Yumi really likes eating at the food courts, and I will probably never understand why. I feel as if every single food court on the planet is same, and the food is nothing but a mildly glorified mcdonalds. After this visit I absolutely refused to visit another food court for the rest of this trip (rest of my life if i can help it)… there are just too many amazing dishes out there to waste my taste buds on fast food.

The local oil giant, Petronas is amazing. There is a Petronas version of Disney land and it really kicks a lot of ass. Even I felt like a kid, though it really doesnt take much. I also broke the baseball pitching record for the day ;)
